Answers at a glance

One of these answers may already help you – otherwise we are just a form away.

What is an FHM?

FHM stands for vehicle keeper notification (Fahrzeughaltermitteilung). We leave it on vehicles that have been parked on a private parking area monitored by us without a valid permit or contrary to the applicable parking rules. An FHM from us relates exclusively to private car parks with their own parking rules that we manage – not to public short-stay parking zones.

Why did I receive an FHM?

You receive an FHM when the parking rules were breached on the managed area. Typical reasons are: a missing parking permit or parking card, parking in a visitor parking space without a valid visitor card, exceeding the maximum permitted parking duration under the parking rules, parking in a private short-stay zone without a correctly set parking disc, as well as unauthorised parking in a designated disabled parking space.

I have received an FHM – what should I do?

First check the FHM number and the stated date. If you wish to pay, follow the payment instructions. If you have questions or feel something is not right, describe your query to us using the "Received an FHM?" form. Please include the FHM number, your registration number and your query. We will review the case and usually get back to you within a few working days.

How can I pay my FHM?

You can pay using the enclosed payment slip or via online banking. Be sure to state your FHM number in the payment reference – it is printed at the top right of the vehicle keeper notification. Without this number your payment cannot be allocated. You will find a detailed step-by-step guide on the "Received an FHM & how to pay" page.

What happens if I do not pay the FHM?

If payment is not made, the case together with the available evidence photos is forwarded to our lawyers. As a rule, additional costs are then to be expected. We therefore recommend settling the FHM on time or clarifying any open questions with us beforehand.

I have paid and still received a letter from a lawyer – why?

This usually happens when neither the FHM number nor the registration number was noted on the bank transfer and the payment could therefore not be allocated. In this case, send us your proof of payment, via our form or directly to our lawyers. We will then clarify this for you straight away.

I have lost my parking card. How do I get a new one?

Using the "Lost your parking card?" form you can request a replacement card easily. Provide the location and your registration number – we will take care of the rest.

How quickly will I receive a reply?

On working days we usually process requests within a few days. After submitting, you receive a ticket number with which you can check the status at any time.

How can I check the status of my request?

On the "Check status" page you enter your ticket number and the email address you used. For data protection reasons, information is only shown if both details match.

Do I have to register to make a request?

No. All queries can be submitted directly via the forms on this website – without any user account.
